NEW SOCIAL HALL & LEARNING CENTER

St Vitus Parish has been around for a long time

Existing Church Building

 

The goal for this proposed new social hall is to provide a safe and comfortable facility to accommodate Parish Groups and events, such as baptism/confirmation receptions, concerts & performances as well as to host Educational presentations, speeches and Slovenian Language School for children & adults.  

 

 The proposed new Hall is to be located directly across the street from the existing church building and on a direct axis with the churches main entry.  This main axis will be accentuated by a pedestrian walkway flanked with trees & decorative lighting that will lead to the main entry of the hall. 

 

 The scope of work for the Hall will consist of:

• The Central Hall - A Banquet Space & stage area to accommodate 220 seats

•  The West wing - A Commercial Kitchen

•  The East Wing - A more flexible space to serve as a Classroom or Meeting Room area which can also serve as an overflow seating area to provide approximately 60 additional seats.  This wing will consist of (2) larger rooms which can be subdivided into (4) rooms with movable partitions.

• New Off-Street Parking consisting of Permeable Pavers with associated landscaping which received a NEORSD Stormwater Grant

• A new Exterior Gate & Walkway leading to the front Entry with associated landscaping
